Why use Samuel’s voice?
Powerful voices compel. Friendly voices persuade. Dynamic voices captivate. Thoughtful voices are trusted. How can you get all of these in one voice?
An unusually deep natural vocal register (basso profundo) and smooth voice quality allows Samuel to employ the power of a very low bass without the gruffness most basses must use. This allows far more subtle use of dynamics, to avoid the “over-acting” that comes with straining beyond one’s natural range. Subtle, natural dynamics, smooth, gentle texture, combined with the effortless power of a deep bass result in a voice that is at the same time compelling and gentle, dynamic and thoughtful, captivating and reassuring. And that is a rare combination.
